DoubleJack scored 387 2/8. He had a lot of growing to do and could have been much more. Maybe 50-100 inches higher. The big group of drops on his left seemed to be too much for him. And once that side went down, the blood flow kept it down. I also think the heat has a lot to do with it. We have never cut anything in July much less 2 bucks!
I was amazed at how close most of the guesses were. It just goes to show how the industry has grown up with the deer. GOOD JOB TO ALL

That is the closest I have ever come to winning, I must say that was pretty exciting! Thank you for the opportunity. Hopefully you do not have to cut any more before they shed out. I know it is stressful when you get them down on the ground this time of year.
Not suprised that this produced, we talked about this at length how TJ and DD would produce. Congrats on a big deer. Just another example of how proven genetics are the way to go!
