I have a friend that has a really nice Larry Bloodline 2 year old buck that he used as a breeder last fall. The buck is a perfect 5x5 that scores 175 and is 23+ wide. He has had 24 fawns in the last 3 weeks of which 19 are does. His primary market is shooter bucks. As you can imagine 80% doe fawns doesn't really suit.
Is this just bad luck? Are there bucks that are inclined to produce more female or male offspring?
Anybody had similar experiences or have an opinion?
