Watch' em Grow (Bucks 2010)

thank you all. this is how an Iowan would say it. If I was Tim Condict I not sure but it would look something like this: Thnx y'aaalllllllll! lol Timmy. As many of you know I have been doing this deer farming for a while. I all my years I have not seen a young buck grow so fast so early. I have been wondering if he would stop early. It is not in his heritage but you never know. I had 2, 180 class yearlings last year and Star Gazer a few years back and they never took of till mid June. The other thing I have noticed is everything is still growing. He has actually gotten wider and his brows just keep growing to. Auggie does this too! Inches just keep coming from everywhere.

My estimate is that Anticipation is growing around 14 inches a week. He should score mid to high 160's today. How many weeks can he grow???

Take a look at his 3's They are way bigger around than his beams. I know wasted energy making those hugh tines but I just wonder what he will become

Bone Collector, He ia an AMAZON son out of an ANGELA (Amos' mom) daughter.

Chad,

Extreme Ranger didn't come this morning. He was just loafing in the back of the pen. I try tomorrow. He looks to have 8 points on each side.

Rocksnracks I think that there would be interest. He has the look. Lots of up tines. That deer will be huge. If he's not breeding with him I'd like to know what he is breeding with. What more could you want

Stopped in at Show Me Whitetails and visited with Darren this evening and had the opportunity to see RedLine, He is really something special, wider than last year, more mass, more points, a drop starting, this buck has a look that all breeders would be proud to have.....Thanks Darren for the time spent

Here are 4 pictures of "Anticipation" every 7 days from June 1st to today June 22nd.

Fred love your yearling Anticipation (name so fitting) could you also post his pedigree?

Thank you and congratulations,

Scott

Andy nice buck i thought you were a nobody that didn't know how to grow big bucks. Maybe some day they will consider you one of the big dogs. How bout some pictures of the rest of your big hogs before you shoot them all this fall.

This yearling is probably our biggest bodied yearling. He is AGN-XFactor (322 @2) over AGN GreenHorn (392 @ 4). Thats a pretty good pedigree if you like inches. He is very heavy! A nice little 5X5 so far.

Sam,

Very impressive the mass is just crazy and the frame is spot on. You always amaze me.

Congratulations from buck fawn to hunting in 2 years

Scott

Here is another pretty nice yearling. We will have to DNA to find out the pedigree. The pen it came out of would be either 6-Shooter or Hardwood. I'm pretty sure its 6-Shooter.This one is mother raised but not too wild :D

Queen Alexandria had two still born fawns last year. That was the first year she was here. I guess the stress of moving got to her.

This year she had a buck and a doe out of Timberjack. We pulled them both for bottle feeding. They are doing great so far. It should be fun to watch them grow up! :)

Wow Fred thats some pedigree! I like the frames in that!

John Yoder called me today and told me Raindance had really produced for him and that he recommended we use him. He said all his Raindance sons were the biggest on his farm. He said he would send me some pictures and I'll try to post them.

So I snapped a picture of him to post. I also posted a picture of his sheds from last year. He has a lot more going on than he did last year when he scored 242. I'm excited about him! :D

He is a very laid back deer!
