Watch' em Grow (Bucks 2010)

Midwest Deer Sales said:
Hey Saline Creek, or Jeff Flentge. Here is the picture you are referring to. Right after this picture, the buck was put down and the drop was taken off. When the buck was reversed from sedation he fell and busted his antlers again. Mr. Sage has never tried to hide anything from anyone, and when you go to his farm you will see the buck in person, so why would he try and hide it. He wanted a picture before we put him down to show off this beautiful set of antlers and Mr. Sage did not want to post that picture with all the blood on here. So when you are there you can ask Mr. Sage and you can look at the buck yourself. This man has a reputation many of us can only hope to be talked about in the same circles that he is. Now, which picture do you think the anti's would like to see? As for the "SHADOWS" being the same, you are correct. All the Shadow 2 yr old sons on Mr. Sage's farm are all over 300"!

Eric

I dont get it, why didn't you just photo shop the blood off? Why did you put the right drop tine on the left side too?

Actually, the one on the left is B.A.S.S. and the pic on the right is Dick. B.A.S.S. is two and Dick is three. I will post more pics of others soon.

Thanks for the tour Curt, but sorry for the miss ID of your bucks. Taking pics and listening ......kinda like walking and chewing gum i guess..

Great bunch of bucks guys!

Curt, the spread and mainframes on your bucks are cetainly a big eye catcher. Torch, B.A.S.S., Dick, they are all look great. I sure wish I could get up to see them in person. Maybe some day in the near future. Thanks for sharing the photos.

These are some really nice bucks you guys keep them commin. I just want to say when trying to fix something with photo shop I would make sure and tell people what you are doing so they don't get wrong idea. Shadows don't lie.

Here is a buck at Crist Miller I think everyone should see! He is a Maxbo Hardcore Yearling! TMW Hercules is a HUGE yearling son of TMW Josie, one of our POWER does. He has an incredible frame with an awesome clean typical look, and exceptional tine length. Hercules is estimated to score 200+, mostly typical!!! Other POWER DOES in his pedigree include BLUE 37, O105, PEBBLES, BLUE 33 (RDM Goliath womb mate), MILLIE (Shaq and Trailblazers mom). For more info contact Crist Miller 440.548.2714.

Sam, Rolex by 10 looks great. He looks like a real brute.

Crist has a beautiful hardcore yearling there.

Keep those big boys coming guys they all look great.

Here is an update of Rold Gold. He is starting to hit his growth spurt like he has in the previouse years and putting lots of inches on every day right now. In the past he grew the best the first 2 weeks of august. He is starting to get really big and getting long tines. It is hard to get a realization from a picture but compare his antlers to his head/body. I will try and get some pictures of his sons. A lot of his 2 and 3 yr olds are bigger then Rold Gold was at that age. He is showing his production!!

Eric , Crist called me a few days ago and was telling me about his yearling, he said that he is selling a Redline doe fawn out of his big yearlings mother in your Oklahoma/Missouri sale in August. It will be one of the few Redline doe fawns that will be available this year ,that doe is obviously a producer and Crist must have faith in her to put a straw of Hardcore in her. This doe fawn should be a great one-I had 10 Redline doe fawns born on my farm and am going to keep 5 or 6 for my program, and 2 have sold privately in the last few days, so I will only be selling 2 or 3 at auctions this year.Crist and his family are super people, I am glad to see that he has such a great yearling! I know that Sarah is responsible for raising that yearling-she does all of the work on thier farm.:D Darren

Jeff,

Yes, the yearling buck in the center is Bucky on a Jesse doe.

Our Jesse doe is out of Larry with twister on the bottom. We Bread her to Bucky From Flees.
