Hey Heath it was good to see you today down at John's farm, you've got a great looking yearling there! For anyone who hasn't been there, he has probably the best group of yearlings I've seen anywhere so far this year! David Lapp's Hardcore yearling is definitely worth all the hype as he's the nicest I've seen anywhere. Jacob Glick's Climax yearlings are super impressive and so was Amos Stoltzfus's XL yearling. Amos Kaufman yet again has a very solid group of Rolex yearlings and possibly the biggest buck on his farm is Roosevelt's wombmate! I recommend a trip to Lancaster County for anyone who wants their fill of big yearling bucks!

I agree 100% with Dustin. Lancaster County can grow em big. John's yearlings are very impressive. His 2 yr olds look awsome too. Jake Glick's yearlings are a hard one to beat as well. NICE BUCKS! It is well worth the long ride down to look at the bucks down there. Good Luck to everyone.

Dustin, How about some updates on your bucks?

Some of our 2 and 3 yr olds

Thanks Hector

His mother is a good one..... Up till today I thought he was out of Duramax....never really looked and I never really pay much attention to my yearlings. The Biggest one 1 I ever have had. He'll be breeding for us!

Db banged himself up righht out of the gate which caused the left side to be a little goofy but its turning way better than I thought it would.........he's got a mainframe just turns in a bit. He'll breed for us again!

Hi Harry, Thanks for having me over this past weekend. Your deer look Great! TM looks like he has Field Goal Posts on his head! Rigid, DB and Big Rig all stand out...too many others to mention also. So what was the Dam side of Big Rig?

P.S. I played the video I took while I was there for some of my friends. If you have'nt named the massive RoldGold son you have-My friend named him MEDUSA! lol

Dustin the bucks look great. For a limited amount of bucks that is one great line up!! I can't wait to breed Express to some of them daughters from your place.

Heath those should make for some really great framey bucks from any of those girls. You're right I only have two 3rd rack, eight 2nd rack and nine yearlings on the farm this year because I've been gettin 2-3x more girls for nearly 1/2 a decade! Next year will be a show because I actually got eight bucks from my AI program instead of the 2-3 I've come accustomed to, not to mention four from Rosey and BW. Think I'm wishing my life away, haha.

Bone Collector, Birchwood is a Lonewood 3 yearold I bought directly off the Walk farm 2 years ago. I believe he's still the largest yearling from him and that year he was one of the largest yearlings on their farm, if not the biggest? He's 25"+ inside with 15" G2 tines... what a monster frame on a 3rd rack! I'm actually looking to sell him this year and would like to find him a new home. I think someone else needs to breed with this guy so I'll attach his full pedigree for anyone who's interested.

Haw926 can we see a Picture of Promise Land?

We own Promise Land with Heath and Russ Jr. He is on our farm in Missouri. He started very late but is putting a really nice set of antlers on. We will have pics in a week or so.

Thanks Josh, you've got a great looking group of bucks there from what I've seen as well. I need to stop out some time when I'm up that way. I'm trying not to be impatient but over the last 3 years from Slingshot, Birchwood and Roosevelt I've got a combined 16 daughters and only 6 bucks in those 3 breeding seasons! I've bought so many of my own button bucks back just to be able to have something to show. I guess that made for a lot of happy customers though. I did however get a Romeo and Energizer son from those two girls I bought from you, now they will be ones to watch!

Shooters, early August (happen to be for sale)
