I know the number. Our Inspector from the Board of Animal Health is the one who told me this today!

I see from posts above that doesn't seem to be true! Who should I have them call to get the right information? I would think our State Inspector would have the right information since he works for the Board of Animal Health directly!

From what I was told if you have a false positive here in MN, they do a second test right away which is less sensitive and if it still tests positive you have a choice to retest in 30 days and at that time you would have to kill the animal if it still tests positive. Your other option is to stay in quarantine and wait until the Feds jump on board and allow the skin test to be used when the blood test shows positive. You wouldn't loose your status while you are in quarantine. If you do end up killing the animal and it tests negative you will be compensated up to $3000.00 while the funds are still available.
