I did not sell him last year because the offers were way to low I thought at $2,500. Its a business for all the Hunting Ranches and they need to make money I know. It seems that most I talk to say they have alot of risk involved that's why the price is so low and housing the hunters meals, time and so on plus the market is way down. I agree the market is down but the Risk part I do not. There is some risk I agree but, I have been taking 85% of the risk out by raising him. So I don't agree on that part. Taking care of hunters when there at your ranch, I should not pay for that when selling my deer to the ranch. Then I should put the price of feed, vet and my time also in that price. Just my thoughts.
The only real Fact is the Buck is Only worth what someones willing to PAY!!
As owners of the deer we do Not have to SELL, that's what makes this country so great!!!
Here are some photos of him in 2012 1 year later!! Glad I did not sell!!!!!
