Thanks Paul.

I have been doing some playing around on the computer during my layovers while at work and made this ad and was wondering how you all thought it looked.

Would it pass well enough to be used in the magazines?

I like it Roger! You're not afraid to use bold color schemes and that's always helped to make your ads stand out from others.

The colors on this ad are different than an others that I've seen and it should draw people in very well.

Great job!

Thanks everyone for commenting on my homemade ad above.

It was made using Adobe Photoshop CS3. I enjoy playing around with it. Kinda complicated and I doubt I have learned more than about .05% of what it can all do, but it is still fun to play with.

I made this as well.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope everyone has had a safe Holiday season so far.

I am still trying to get the plan set in place for our giveaway taking place during the coming Top 30 sale. I am trying to make it a really nice deal for some lucky winner.

What I can tell you so far is that during the time our 5 lots in the Top 30 sell we will be putting the winner bidders number AND the backup bidders number for each lot into a hat.

When the last of our lots finish selling we will draw out the winning number and they will be getting the prize.

As soon as we get the prize details worked out I will be posting that information.

This giveaway is to show appreciation to both our buyers and the bidders who bid against them.

roger thats awsome , what ever you give away will be great, to bad i will not be a part of it , got to save my 2 cents for DOWN DRAFT

Ok we have a final plan in place for our giveaway taking place during the coming Top 30 auction.

To show appreciation to everyone who,

is the high bidder for one of our lots during the auction,

AND

to show appreciation to those who are the 5 backup bidders of our lots,

AND

to anyone who buys any Updraft of Downdraft semen or live animals directly from us during the show PRIOR to the drawing taking place after our 5th lot sells during the auction.

Each of them will have 1 entry into the drawing for the grand prize.

If you are the backup bidder during one of our lots please be ready to provide the ringman with your bidder number so I can add it to the drawing.

If you are bidding from on-line I will get your bidder number from the website dude running the on-line auction.

I want everyone mentioned above to have a fair chance at the prize.

That grand prize is an X-Caliber darting rifle complete with the whole shabang. The case, scope, practice darts and all.

We will have the rules for review at our booth so stop in and take a look early in the show for all the details. Also if you have any questions you would like to ask before the show feel free to email us at,

[email protected]

or post your questions here and I will try and answer them when I see them here.

Note: This is for fun and yes, promotion of our lots and farm. I will make all the final decisions on the rules and timing of the drawing.

The one I ordered is black not camo like the photos below.

I hope this adds some more excitement to an already fun event.

Can't wait to see everyone at the sale!:)

I hope everyone realizes that buying even just a single straw of Downdraft or Updraft during the coming sale gets them an equal chance of winning the X-Caliber rifle, same as anyone who buys any of our lots OR is the backup bidder on our lots during the Whitetail Extravaganza sale.

Please note we are talking about the Midwest Select sale with this posting and not the coming Top 30 sale next week.

Thank you to both Eric and Jerry for accepting us into the Midwest Select sale this season. This is our first time consigning to this great sale and we are excited to be a part of this great event.

I do have some corrections I need to point out though.

Our Lot Premier #23 located on page 74

Our Lot Premier #49 located on page 182

Our CWD date is incorrect on both lots. It should say Oct 2002

Another thing that is small is our last name is spelled incorrectly. It should be Pietrowski

On our Lot #23 the pedigree shown is pretty much completely wrong. Just simply disregard it totally and look at the pedigree sheet attached to this posting.

It is true though that the fawns will have Pebbles in them 6 times!

On Lot #49 I also want to be very clear that Kelly is LIVE BRED to Updraft

The picture of Updraft used with the lot is him at age 2 in 2009 when he scored 268 4/8"@2.

Also I want to point out that our ad on page 75 has an error with the pedigree for Addie as well. Again see the attached pedigree sheet for an accurate display of the pedigree information.

Not sure how I missed that during proof reading the ad. I have been very busy with work the last few months so anything is possible.

Thank you for taking the time to read these corrections. I understand that come sale time there will still be confusion so I hope that as many as possible see this information.

Please contact us if you need further clarification.

Roger:)

I have been getting some feedback in emails that some feel the drawing for the darting rifle should only be for those who actually bought something during the Top 30 auction and that the backup bidders shouldn't be included in the drawing.

I would like everyone to remember that this drawing is not just to promote my lots and farm. It was and still is intended to also be a FUN time for people during the show. I also feel that without ALL the bidders it wouldn't be an auction. It would simply be folks standing in the front of the room looking dumb. And I don't need any help looking dumb as I have that one down pat just fine already:eek:

NOTE: The rules are staying the same. ALL buyers and ALL backup bidders to the highest bid for each lot and EVERYONE who buys Updraft or Downdraft semen OR a live animal directly from us during the show but PRIOR to the selling of our 5th lot WILL BE INCLUDED in the drawing for the FREE X-Caliber darting rifle.

I do thank everyone who has contacted me about our lots so far. I feel we are indeed offering some great lots that will do very well for the buyers. I also want everyone to realize that the after the sale support is there as well. It is VERY important to me that all our investors are happy and successful.

Attached here once again are the lots in order they will be selling during Kevin Grace's coming Top 30 sale.

NOTE: Lot # 1 may also be a bred doe now. Laurie saw the Shadow son in with the doe fawns breed Babydoll on Dec 31st. Laurie went out that day to separate the cover bucks from the does and she saw him jump and breed her. The buyer of this lot may well be ahead of the game come spring.

That got me to thinking so I looked back and sure enough. Every doe fawn we have sold at this time of year has ended up giving the buyer a fawn the next spring. Two years ago I sold 2 doe fawns in Kevin's Select 30 sale and they both gave the new owners a fawn, (Levi Mast of Mast's Whitetails and Steve Smith, Michael Peters and Phil Hinch of Cola Blanca Whitetails), and I sold Kevin Grace in a direct sale a doe fawn that winter and he got a fawn as well from his. Earlier this fall I sold Scott Follett a doe fawn and she was also seen being bred back on Dec 19th so he should also be getting a fawn come spring.

I am glad that our investors are doing well with their purchases.

We are considering the idea of starting in another location Independence Ranch II

This would be a joint venture with another person.

I will consider the following states for this adventure. In no particular order, MO, OH, OK, PA.

I would prefer to join forces with an already existing deer farm who would like to work with us in a partnership of sorts. I will supply the deer and the semen.

This new location would have to have the ability to do A/I work both physically (A handling system) and have the rights inside their own community (Meaning the Amish community if it would apply).

I do have a couple of folks in mind I intend to speak with during the coming sale, but if you would like to discuss the idea with us look for Laurie and I at the Top 30 sale to discuss the possible options available.
