dc, I don't know what your deal is. I didn't say a word to you but you seem to want to throw crap at me now for some reason.

Funny how that A/I video I made and sent to you that you were so greatful for and you wanted me to give you permission to reproduce it so you could sell it to folks on your on-line store has slipped your mind.

That's ok though. I understand I am just a user and not a helper. I am all about the $

Mike I will send you an email soon. I just have to get some sleep here now. Somehow in the mix what I said must have been misplaced. I am pretty sure that I said I had project does at our place as well. That is because I am a deer breeder and as such we look for new bloodlines to use in the mix along with my line breeding. You and I are doing the same things really in our programs.

Thanks Randy for sticking up for me.

Roger, I have went back and read all your post on this and I for the life of me can't figure Dc and his rambilings and saying your all about the dollar ? I have known you and watched you from the very first top 30 you were in and I think I can ohnestly say you have not let your sucsess change you! Are you a "SELF PROMOTER"..........:D..HELL yes but isn't that what you do WHEN YOU ARE PROUD of your hard work and accomplishments ?

All I can say to ANYONE who thinks Roger wont help a fellow deerfarmer is go back and read his post and the effort he puts into HELPING.............ANYONE who asks!!!!!!!!!

And for him being a "SELF PROMOTOR" well atleast he's on here on a REGULAR bases BLOWIN his own horn! NOT just on here being a "HORN WHORE" trying to get the word out about thier buck and influence you into buying thier semen and offspring!..............

WOO!!!!!!!!! That felt GOOD!:)

KNOW can we get back to talking about "WHO WE WOULD BREED WITH" and WHY! :):D:cool:THANKS!

Roger,

Thanks for the email. I just think this is an example of how things can be misunderstood over the internet... I wasn't directing my comments at you personally.

I was just trying to let people know that you can absolutely have a very marketable and profitable deer from a lesser known line if you can show all of the production and where that deer came from.

Give me a call when you get some down time and we can talk about breeding or whatever else comes to mind.

Mike

"horn whore"... nice one Wayne!

Sometimes overkill is not a good thing but hey everybody knows what there is,what their made of,where there for sale and just about anything else you would like to know about them!!

I am on here to learn as much as I can (as I only started a few years ago) and I love to hear everyones opinion. Roger Is willing to post on here and I thank him for it as everyone else.

Roger and laurie have always offered help to me whenever I have asked for it and so have many others, that is one thing that makes this industry so great is the willingness of others to pass on what they have learned and help someone else, I am sure there are some that dont offer help but Roger and his wife are not one of them....Good luck Roger at the Midwest Select next week, as well as everyone else......

As for Regulars on this site Wayne Scott was also a big help to me last August when I had to cut antlers off one of our 2 yr olds due to infection, he helped us safe that bucks life....

I do very much appreciate the kind words that some of you have decided to post for me. I thank you all very, very much!

Good luck to you Rick, and everyone else at the sale next week as well. Most of all I hope everyone has a good time and safe travels.

I just hope I can attend the sale. I left the U.S. this morning VERY early headed towards Germany and due to a freak building fire in a control center in Gander Greenland we had to divert around the normal North Atlantic airspace and then land short of our destination in Iceland. Then during the post flight/pre-flight inspection I found a fuel leak from the number 4 engine. I am typing this from a hotel in Iceland because they will have to fly parts in to fix it and we have no idea how long before the plane is ready to fly again. It could take days even if things get all jacked up:(

Sorry this discussion thread was diverted so much. Now on with the show:p

Rick, you will see us cut some antlers off due to an infection in an upcoming episode of Keith Warren's deer farm stories. It certainly wasn't something we planned for filming the show but just one of those things that happens and has to be dealt with immediately. We haven't seen the show yet ourselves, but I'm sure that part will be in there. We are told it will air mid-March sometime.

Look forward to seeing that Jane, we no doubt saved this bucks life and actually sold him a couple weeks later, could not have done it without help from Wayne and Solomon..

The buck we cut was So Big - who is actually soooooo big. He recovered and is fine but it was a little scary for a while. This is him a little earlier. He is a Blue Mt. Bill son out of one of our Jack daughters. He is 3 and scored around 350.

Jane,

That buck is big, but ours was so big he would not fit in the view finder of our camera so we do not have a picture...LOL
