2010 Midwest Select Auction Catalog Now Online!

Wayne, we think there are some real good lots. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and we will see you on the auction floor.

Eric

There is a small addition to lot #E15 in Round 3 of the Midwest Select Auction.

S&S Whitetail Galores lot should read that choice 11 of the unborn fawns Hardcore/Shadow/Blue 37 is only offered if she has twin doe fawns.

Hey just wanted to let everyone know that Missouri Whitetails lot P13 should read that the Shadow daughter is out of Maxin II's mothers womb sister not Maxin II's womb sister. If Lynn and Mark don't like that doe I guess I could take her off their hands, but I guess for now I'll stick with what we got.

Thanks Matt Kirchner

Hey Eric and Jerry, I just glanced over the lots, WOW! This will be a great chance for breeders to build thier programs up.You guys continue to think outside the box and it shows .

Correction

Wallahachie Whitetails Lots have them listed as Roy & Sue Weaver.

They are Kevin Wallace Lots.

Please make that note in your catalog.

Thank You!

Lot CO3...Lot in online catalog was not selected....What was selected was a future breeder buck out of Maxbo and Red 11..What a opportunity here!!!!!!

Maxbo, maybe the greatest sire ever has produced several 300" bucks and numerous bucks over 250"

Red 11 is a proven producer of large framed, tall tined bucks...Phil Johnson has a big two year old on his farm and i have a super nice yearling on my farm. Red 11's twin bro is a huge 6x6. Red 11 is the womb sister to G111 which sold @Top 30 for 41K. Behind Red 11 is a outstanding pedigree.. White 68 is the dam to Minnie Maxbo 268@3 and B38 is the dam to Maxbo Dominator 245@3, Top side goes back to Waldvogels Chance and White 74..She is showing up in a lot of Pedigrees. All Chance does on Dave McQuaigs farm have produced 250" bucks. Call for more info or i can send you a pedigree...(309)232-9588

Thanks...Dave

Mine came in the mail yesterday.

It looks to be a super great auction once again. I have a room, a booth, Laurie says she is staying home this time to care for the deer and dog so it will be just me this time.

Please stop by the booth and say hi. It is a great time getting to meet everyone!

We got our catalog today in the mail. I'm a little confused though. The Schedule of events has rounds 1, 2, 3 and 4 and has premier and elite. The lots are labeled P, E and C. I'm guessing P is premier and E is elite - then what is C?????? I don't know - but this looks confusing.

Jane, it is confusing. Trust me it will be just fine. It is like anything that someone is not used to, but it is very easy to understand once you have seen it work. Do you watch nascar or baseball & football playoffs. It is just like that. C stands for the Chase for the Race lots. The top 15 finishers with a combination of Animals sold and purchased will automatically be in the sale next year in each cataogory. Each of the Elite (4Lots), Premier (4Lots), and Chase (4Lots) will be given an automatic invitation to return next year. Some will move up to the next category and some will fall back a category. I feel once everyone sees the format at work they will like it. We feel that this will take out any buddy system and be based solely on the numbers. If it is based solely on the numbers no games can be played and the farm that is willing to make a sacrifice and step up will be rewarded for the future year(s). We will all have fun seeing this system work this year and we will all have a better understanding for the next coming years. Thanks for your comments and concerns and we look forward to seeing you all at the 2010 Midwest Select, North American Whitetail Breeder Finals

OK - that helps. With that I would encourage everyone to take a look at our lot, on Page 82. The doe is a Rex daughter - Rex is out of High Roller and a Jack doe. She is bred to Blue River, who scored 284 (it is wrong on the ad - my fault) at 2 and is out of Blue Mt. Bill and a Jack doe. This is a live breeding - no question marks here! This should be a great cross!

Here are the choices for my choice fawn lot at the sale. It is the very last lot of the sale. The full pedigrees did not make the book so I have made up a flyer. If you have any questions see me at my booth or give me a call at 715 610 7017

Thanks and see ya there!

Shannon,

Who is this #33 doe in all the pedigree's? Must be a good producer to have that many does out of her...

She aint bad Josh. Every son out of her has gone over 200" and they are all very framey typicals. She has 300" grandsons and a 450" greatgrand son. Most all of her daughters Are producing excellent. There have been 4 different Tex & #33 does that hve proven to be excellent producers and now a Tex and 7/8 sister of hers in Rock n Rolls mom. Cant wait until the first son of Titans sister grows out this summer. Her mom and super does mom are similarly bred. Any Good breedings in there Josh?

Nice lot! Maybe I could use a little #33 in my herd. Yeah I would say there are a few crosses that would work...

Shannon, Your lots ROCK the house! But they are even better than you are telling people.

The second animal on the list says the fawns will be "Triple Little Boomer." They will actually be Little Boomer 5 times!

1st. Poncho comes from Little Boomer.

2nd.The Poncho doe of course goes back to Little Boomer.

3rd. The BJ2 buck goes back to Little Boomer through BJ.

4th and 5th time. The BB110 doe is a double bred Little Boomer.

Just thought I would point that out.

Bags are packed and all the crap is all ready to load in the truck and go. Laurie wants to stay home this time. (She hates traveling) I will have my booth setup again at this sale as well. If you haven't stopped by yet to say hi please do this time.

I think this will be a great sale. Many super lots are being offered. This will be lots of fun!
