2013 fawns popping out

This happened to me last year but I thought I'd share as it still amazes me.

One of my does gave me quads (three buck and one doe Gladiator fawns) and I was afraid to put them on the bottle as we have never done this and I was afraid to mess it up. I decided to take a chance so I left two of these fawns with mom and the other two I raised with a goat. The goat had fawned 1mo before.

The goat was reluctant at first to feed them but then I build a small stable-like stand where I gave the goat treats every feeding time. After a while she had no problem with the fawns.

All four fawns are alive and three of them are showing their first racks. Hope this experience helps someone in a similar situation.

Here's a picture of the goat in the stand and then later with the fawns.

Just had a doe fawn out of my Sudden Impact/Waldvogel Boomer doe that was bred to Kid Ranger (Cardiac Kid/Maxbo Ranger). Yes, on the "Four Corners" of the pedigree chart from top to bottom that has from top to bottom the following names: Cardiac Kid, Maxbo Ranger, Sudden Impact, Waldvogel Boomer!!! It takes years of breeding to get deer in those spots in the pedigree chart.

Wow Thomas, that is one HUGE buck fawn.

Everyone is welcome to take a moment and look in my thread "nelson whitetails" in the farm and ranch showcase section of the forums. I had Trips tonight and I made a photo documentary, I sat for 4 hours and watched it all. Very awesome evening!

thank you nelson im even more excited to say this is my first fawn ever born, since I just got into deer farming in 2012. But from what I heard all of her fawns have been big in the past

Just got word that we had triplet XL fawns out of a Hardcore/Martygraw doe!! These are full brothers and sisters to a yearling buck that Russ Bellar, Wayne Green, and Todd Morgan owned. Can't wait to hear what *** they are!! Fun time of year.

Today we had a big buck fawn born out of Reggie and Dolly. The we in this case would be Dream Ranch and Independence Ranch. I had purchased 1/2 of Dolly back from Will at the Top 30 sale. Thank you Will for such a great offering to be partnered with you again!

Dolly is the mother to both Updraft and Downdraft, and is a Bucky Jr daughter!!! Compare this buck fawns pedigree to Cardiac Kids and pay attention to the proven production of the mothers side. I would say we have another hit on our hands!
