fawn panting after running

My Jeffrey was turned out today and he has went on the hill twice and come back twice...lol but the first time he ran and played some in the yard, he panted. Is this ok?

Weird question I know but if all goes well from her on out you guys should be rid of me.... Never will I do this again..

oops one more question.... do fawns get 'worms' in the wild? people seem to have to worm fawns sometimes and I was just wondering.

I'll answer with another question...if you ran with the fawn would you be panting???

wild deer are not as concentrated as farm deer and usually don't need worming. If you want to you can use Safeguard cattle wormer pellets.in some feed.

I see your point...lol and yes i would be needing O2 if I ran with him.. .lol I just hope he does well. I know that sounds stupid but it must be the mother in me but like I said I will never do this again... If I see him next year up on the well flat, I will be very happy,,
