Hey Mick....thanks for the call the other day...I will give you a ring soon...hope all is well with the deer.!

Guys Thank you so much for the guesses! I am glad to see this interest in him. As many of you may have seen from other posts, I have been affected by the recent CWD discovery. This may or may not affect the movement of this doe in January, I was told by the department of Ag. that i will be held in a "brief" quarantine, until the results come back from the doe I have to harvest for testing. results normally take 2 months but rumor is that these protocol deer are going to be tested fairly quickly, so the good news is when or if my doe comes back negative, my quarantine may be lifted immediately, that is the best news I had in the last days.

I am Not going to let the Ag ruin the excitment of this contest for me and for the winner, I am willing to hold this doe for the winner, even if that means she must fawn here and you need to get her next fall, at no charge.

Now to make the announcement............................

The winner, only 3/8 of an inch off is................................. Jared Kramer, Wicked Whitetails

Congrats Jared!!

I had the pleasure of having no rush to score this deer, he was out good. I came up with 182 3/8" just under 15" wide.

I honestly guessed him at MAYBE 160", but a few decieveing 6" mass measurements and 19 6/8" beams and that score started creeping up fast, I checked over him 3 times, I was in shock he scored so high!! Never would have guessed! Thank you guys!!

Congrats Jared and to you Matt~ I am so sorry you are caught up in this knee jerk reaction to a whole lotta nothing BS~ I am sad that you and your deer both have to suffer!!! I wish you the best and hope it is over soon for you :(

You have a GREAT buck there!!

Why does it take 2 months for the samples to be done when our BOAH sampled the deer on Tuesday and had results from Purdue on Friday? Unreal!!!!! 3 DAYS This is just more BS to add to a bad situation.

Congratulations Jared. I have seen this Buck in person, he is way more impressive than the pictures, both in antlers and body size. Congrats to you also Matt, on an exceptional yearling, and a breeding program that is working for you. Good Luck and God Bless. Allen
