Just a coincedince????

I am working away from home and Sharon and Kaila are holding down the fort... so far Justins( son, working in alberta) has 80+% bucks (10-2) ....last year 100% does, Our deer are about 70% bucks best year ever for bucks and yes I'm knocking on every piece of wood I can reach

Well , I am at a record 50/50 bucks and does...usually it is way doe lopsided. The weird thing this year I have a doe that is nine and she started her career with a single the first year , then twins , and then singles ever since.....well , this year she came up with twins...shocked me. You never know. I have had fourteen fawns and only one buck before. Jim P.S. all twins this year so far. Only one left that looks to be behind the others by a month.

We had 3 singles this year out of older does which is a first, but also had 3 sets of triplets. Buck to doe is 50-50.

I think if you have enough deer the buck/doe ratio usually evens itself out. We've had just over 200 fawns so far and it started out heavy to does, but now has pretty well evened out. We see this almost every year - starts out one way and ends up about 50/50.

We have had 3 does fawn so far, 2 sets of trips and a set of twins. Two does to fawn yet. We've had 7 does and 1 buck so far.

One set of triplets and the rest have been twins. 11 bucks and 6 does. One more doe to fawn.
