saggy sack

I have a friend in Illinios who's father has three whitetails as pets. I just saw him in Maine on a bear hunt and he asked me a question about his buck that I could not answer but said I would check on here to see if anyone could give him an idea of what is up. It seems his bucks scrotum is very saggy and hanging down by his hocks. He says it doesn't appear that his testicles are hanging down there, just the scrotum. He said it was kind of like that last year, but not near as bad, and over the winter seemed to go back to almost normal. (Shrinkage factor I told him.) Anyway, this spring it sagged even lower, down to his hocks, and looks kinda rough for the poor guy. I think the deer is 5-6 years old. He still eats and acts well, it's just his scrotum is a big, long, saggy sack hanging there. Does anyone have an idea what could possibly be going on with this guy? I have never seen or heard of this before so I am of no help, and was hoping somebody on here could be. Thanks!

I'm sorry about that!! I didn't even think about my name or the title of the post. It does make good conversation though! Anyway, no I don't have any pics but I can ask my buddy if he can get some and email them to me. Also, I'm going out there to do some archery hunting with him in November and if it is still hanging (which I expect it to be) I'll take some pics myself. So nobody even has a good guess as to what could be the cause? I guess it is pretty uncommon then. Like I said, I've never seen or heard about something like this either. (Not that I'm any kind of an old time expert or anything) I'll try and get him on the pics. Thanks for the replies!!
