My guess is 204 2/8 26 inch beams Thanks for the opportunity. Very nice yearling.

5 years ago I had a yearling that was pure Fleese breeding, His name was Wildcard, he had one beam 26 1/4 and one 26 1/8. I have looked at those horns several times then stepped out and looked at Redbull, No comparison. As far as I know, Wildcard has held the record for longest mainbeams on a yearling to date. Blue Mountain Whitetails called me last year to ask exactly how long Wildcards beams were, they had a yearling with beams that were 25 inches and some change. Is anyone aware of a contenter for this title? One thing is for sure, the way these deer are progressing-it wont be long until every record is broken. Darren

The way your deer are growing you might break a few more.

My guess is 248" beams 28". I am happy to have a Wildcard yearling doe, but my pedigree says 3/4 Flees. Is that wrong for Wildcards pedigree?

Thanks much for the chance to win! Eldon

I am sorry Bruins Island, I dont have it in front of me, but I think your right, one leg of his ped. does have some Borntrager influence, my second biggest yearling this year is out of a Wildcard daughter-- he probably has 23+ mainbeams. Dont give up on your doe , wait till you see a buck or two out of her. Darren

Redbull is sweet looking yearling Darren!!!

201 3/8" Score, 26 1/8" Beams.

Thanks for the opportunity!

Darren I was wondering how that previous record holder Wildcard turned out for you at 2~5yrs old for you? Seems to me those 26"+ didn't make an impact on his older years! He's a nice yearling but I don't think holding any yearling records really makes any significant future growth. Wildcard didn't seem to live up to those record setting beams!

My guess 183, 23.5 beams

Noname, Actually Wildcard didnt only have the longest beams to date as a yearling in 2005, he also had an incredible 6x6 mainfraim and took 1st place in the 2005 NADEFA typical yearling hard antler competition, then as a 4 year old in 2008 he took 1st place again in the NADEFA mature typical division. I always enjoy it when someone like you gets on here and doesnt have any idea what they are talking about. Lets see your your deer, I am sure that they are some of the world's finest. Darren

I AI d with wildcard the past 2 years. I got a doe fawn last year and twin buck fawns this year. The 2 buck fawns are the biggest in the pen out of 4 different sires and some of the calmest,best-natured deer I ve seen on any farm. I know of several very nice wildcard 2 and 3 yr olds and I am very pleased so far with what I have seen from him.
