Now that all the antlers are done shedding the velvet. I would like to know what buck has the bragging rights to the worlds largest Boone & Crocket NET TYPICAL score. Does the Milo Hanson buck (213 5/8") still hold the title?

Paul.....the answer to your question is very easy,...yes he does, if you are going by boone and crockett,...read their criteria and go from there. (trying to help you out there steve)

Sounds like Michigan Weapon may have a shot at it with only a maniframe 5X5 from what I read in the post. He deffineately has very little deductions for his size.

Are we talking wild deer or farm raised deer?

Are we talking only those who can be entered into the 'typical' category or any buck minus all unequal deductions side to side and junk?

Just wondering.

Holly, Cougar Ridge bucks cannot be added to any category, they have their own.lol

Like Pure Turkey said none of our game farm deer can be placed in the Boone and Crocket book as we are only allowed in the SCI record book. Boone and Crocket is for wild killed deer and SCI is for high fence deer. I'm sure we could measure our deer for our own interest but we will never be in the B&C record book.

A friend of mine has a 6x6 mainframe that was officially SCI scored at 222" and had a typical score of 210 6/8".

The buck has (if I recall correctly) 2 extra points on each side to make the difference between 210" and 222"

And when I say a 6x6 mainframe that is what I mean. None of this scatter points that maybe aren't really mainframe typical points. A great looking buck.

I don't have any pics right now, but maybe I can get some from him.

By the way he did draw semen on him, and he is out of some of the Flees bloodline if anyone is interested. If you are send me an email or call me and I will help you out.

But please, only send me emails or call. I don't read all of the posts on here everyday any more and will most likely miss your post on here asking for info on the buck.

Rumor is a fellow OKIE has grown the new record typical. They are going to let us all know soon I hear. Sounds like he is 240+ typical ??????????? If so congrats to them.

Holly, I showed your calander to some coworkers a few days ago. I love watching the jaw drops! I agree with Reed- C.R. in a class alone!;)

The question still remains. Have we ever grown a pen deer that will out score Milo Hanson's net typical score of 213 5/8" B&C. I know we cannot enter in B&C but it doesn't mean we can't use that system to compare with the current world record. After all we seem to do just fine when scoring our shooters. Keep in mind no SCI top ten buck is official until it has been scored by a master scorer. Mike, Roger, Aaron and kieth if you find out anymore on the bucks let us know. Holly yes you can count any buck as long as all non typical and side to side differences have been deducted. I think you might have a few to give them a run for their money. It is amazing that we have had 460 views and no positive claims to the title. And for all the SCI guys throw your typical scores in as well. You will have to beat Brian Damery's buck scoring 227 1/8" SCI.:D

P.J. is un-official, but I've got him as a 6x4.....223" S.C.I.

Well Paul...... I will first start by saying that I NEVER score a buck B&C just because I am so passionate about our industry and while working for NADeFA learned in a quick hurry Boone and Crockette is far from anything supportive toward us, so we always score and advertise SCI!!!!

With that, I am not well educated on their system, but if I were to look at Hardcore's score sheet and deduct ALL unequal inches in tines, beams and mass side to side and completely deduct his G7, G8 and G9 on his left side (because he is a typical 10 x 7 and just consider him a 7 x 7), he still scores 262!!!

I know Maxbo would beat the 213 5/8 for the last (I don't know how many years) as well!

It is interesting..... Maxbo and Hardcore, who I feel are quite typical can't be entered into any typical categories as their non-typical inches exceed the percentages allowed.

I'd prefer talk about their typical frames as that is what impresses me most! With Hardcore we call him a 295" mainframed typical because that is counting ONLY his 10 x 7 tines, beams and mass.... NO JUNK! Both beams are over 33" (one 33 2/8 and the other 33 4/8), his longest tines are 15 3/8, near 50" of mass and his inside spread is 26 even.

I am sure there are a ton of bucks out there in the deer farming world that beat that score of the B&C record!

You do know his mother goes back to David's "Scar" buck. Now you know where the frame and tines come from.

Reed- I did not know that. Sweet. Ironically enough, some of David's super strong does seem to have Scar back in the pedigree somewhere. That is awesome!

OK so far it looks like Harcore is winning but barely.:D Anybody else? Reed try a Cico/Scar combo its deadly. Holly I'll share a little secret with ya. We might have a little Maxbo Harcore for the prettiest doe in our herd.

Paul- Are you meaning you have a little Maxbo Hardcore doe fawn or yearling doe that is prettier than mine??? Now wait a minute here, I am very proud of the beauty all of my little girls have, we might have to compare pics :)
