And the winner is... David Westbrook with a guess of 278. The actual score I got was 276 1/8. Since Allen Biser was only 1/8 behind with a guess of 274 1/8, he too can have a straw of Stan semen. I will PM both of you. Here are 2 more pics. One of Tater taken today and another of 2 more 2 year olds. The wide one on the left is also a Stan son but out of a Maxbo daughter. David Macginnis, sure would like to see some pics.

I had a look at the Stan sheds a couple of years back at the Top 30 in Springfield. I said to myself that Stan was the man. Tine length is the foundation to a buck scoring great or at the least scoring better than it looks like it will. When a hunter walks up to his quarry at the end of a hunt and says there wasn't any ground shrinkage it is usually due to tine length and Steve and Carolyn and have two bucks in recent years take longest tines at NADeFA. Congrats to you and best wishes to the steward of this great line Ted Summer. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ted who is the grandfather of the deer industry we have today.

Steve, could you post a picture of Stan when he grew that rack with the 20+" tine or at least a mount with the sheds. I have an Abendigo grand-daughter that comes out of an Amos / Little Peach doe that I am linebreeding to Abendigo this fall. I would like to linebreed her the other way next fall. My prize doe with tine length is a good candidate for Stan also. She is a Flees Buddy / Doc / Towcow Captain 3 yr. old that is already showing that she is a contender for having a future buck with longest tine distinction. I look forward to your correspondence and keep producing the way you are.

Joe, first of all, thanks for the kind words. I will have Carolyn find a 2010 pic of Stan to put on here, I can't seem to find them, which is no surprise. Meanwhile, you can see a good picture of him showing that long tine if you go to our website www.hilltopwhitetails.com and go to the 2010 breeder bucks link. We have priced Stan semen at $750.
