I HAD AN UNEXPECTED VISITOR THIS MORNING. HE ARRIVED EARLY, SAT DOWN WITH ME AND CHATTED FOR A WHILE ABOUT HOW THINGS WERE CURRENTLY GOING FOR ME IN MY LIFE. AFTER VERY CAREFULLY AND COMPASSIONATELY LISTENING TO ALL THAT I HAD TO SAY, HE SAW THE STRESS ON MY FACE AND THE TEARS IN MY EYES.

HE STOOD UP, WALKED OVER TO ME, LEANED OVER AND GENTLY HELD ME FOR AWHILE BECAUSE I WAS HAVING A REALLY BAD MORNING. THEN, AFTER REASSURING ME NOT TO WORRY, THAT EVERYTHING WOULD WORK OUT FOR ME AND BE JUST FINE, HE ASKED ME IF I KNEW OF ANYONE ELSE THAT COULD USE A VISIT FROM HIM.

I IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF YOU MY FRIEND. I GAVE HIM YOUR NAME AND TOLD HIM WHERE YOU LIVED. HE GAVE ME ANOTHER REASSURING HUG, THANKED ME AND I WALKED WITH HIM TO MY FRONT DOOR. HE TOLD ME THAT HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO YOUR PLACE.

He is carrying is very important and needs to go around. I asked him to bless you and yours with peace, happiness and abundance.

Say a prayer, and then pass Him on to bless others as I sent him on to bless you. Our assignment is to spread love, respect and kindness throughout the world.

Have a blessed day and touch somebody's life today as hopefully I have touched your life. He's walking around the world.

Please help him along the way.

I have decided to run the auction for the straw of Magnus 'till 10/10/09. I feel this needs a little more time to be looked at. Wisdom's package ends on this date also, so that is why I chose that date. Thank you to all who have bid so far on thes benefit auctions thus far. Godd bless.

Hello to all. Just another quick update on Sam. He is doing pretty well but his white blood cell counts are still very low (commnon after chemo). His counts should come back up by early to mid next week (hopefully). So, this means he basically needs to be isolated this weekend at home, kept away from crowds. He has had a pretty good day but has been lethargic this afternoon and has a headache that he can't seem to shake. He does not have a temperature but it is something we need to keep an eye on. We are just praying he is able to rest as much as possible this weekend and that his counts come back up.

Samuel's surgery on his knees is scheduled for the end of October. This is all based on how he does for his 2 rounds of chemo and how strong he is at that point. The surgery date scheduled for October 30th may change depending on how he is doing. Samuel will be having the limb salvage surgery done on his right femur. He will be able to keep his leg (no amputation) but will have an internal prosthetic. The 1 tumor/spot that is on his left tibia will also be removed but this will not require a reconstructive surgery. We have been told that Samuel's limitations with his internal prosthetic will be that he will not be able to run and jump again. He should be able to lead a very normal life other than this but will just be limited with physical activity such as sports. Samuel does not play sports and does not seem to have an interest in them so we thought this would be the best possible surgery option for him allowing him to keep his leg. A friend gave me a scripture verse that has given me hope that with God all things are possible. We are hoping and praying that Sam will be able to run again someday. The verse is Isaiah 40:31 which says "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall RUN, and not be weary; and they shall WALK, and not faint." This is our prayer for our son.

I have sent an email to everyone who was on the list for RDM Hefty Semen last year....the offer was 75.00 a straw and I had 72 straws spoken for......as i said in a previous post I would like to extend this offer and give half of all the proceeds towrds Sam and his Family..........that would be roughly 2700.00 dollars.......however if you would lke to pay a little extra for each straw 100 percent of those dollars will go to the family.......right now I have only heard from 4 of the 25 that previously committed.....and a couple have already offered more for the straws as a donation......PLEASE, PLEASE, Please respond to my email either way......please let me know if you would be interested in doing this offer because it looks like I will have extra straws......this is by no means bad semen....Hefty Produces and has several 200 class buck on the ground.....I am merely doing this as it should make it easier for others to dontate at a lower dollar amount.......Help out this family please in anyway you can.....don't trun a blind eye......God forbid there comes a day and your child is in need of help! I can't imagine how it must feel to know the.....come on guys there has to be some others out there with semen and stuff to donate ITS FOR A WONDERFUL CAUSE!!!!

Sams family is struggling with the decision to amputate his leg or not please pray for them.

And they are asking for prayers for a 6 year old that needs prayers If you don't mind please also pray for a little boy from our church named Garrett. He was involved in a car accident yesterday. He is only 6 years old. Last I heard he is currently at Children's Hospital with a skull fracture and swelling on his brain. He was also in and out of consciousness...not fully awake. I am sure his family would appreciate the prayers for their son.

I posted updated info on Sam on the... Auctions worth bidding on!!!... thread. I also posted pictures.

Hey everyone my wife and I were in Watertown NY this week and took an afternoon and went to a movie called The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry, this is one of the best Christian films I have seen and especially one being run at a secular . here is the web sight

http://www.sperrymovie.com/... if you see it you will not be disapointed.... take your kids nothing at all bad in this film...

Why is it So hard to give.........here is a family (Sam's Family) that are in much need financially and with prayer! CHRIST gave his very life for each and everyone of us...HIS VERY LIFE FOR OUR MISERABLE SINS........here we as a group can't even pitch in and give to help this family in need .........A small handful have and may the lord Bless each and everyone of you...............I have basically given my Breeder buck semen away and still can't get anyone to purchase it when the proceeds will go to help Sam.........I'm sorry but I just don't understand!! Just giving a little...by a lot of people goes a long way!!!

BillieJo:

Is there any way that you could email me privately ([email protected]) your address for me to send the check to so that you can give it to them personally? This way they will know it came from your support of them and from individuals in the deer industry!

Please pray for the family of Samantha Hartsfield. This is a little girl that is at the very end of her battle with Osteosarcoma. I am sure the family would appreciate you signing their guestbook and praying for them. My heart is just breaking for their family.

Also, for those that have asked about the names and ages of our daughters- Aubrey is 5 years old (birthday in January) and Caitlin is 2 years old (birthday in January). Sam of course is 8 and guess when his birthday is.....yes you guessed it...JANUARY. :) It's a busy month for us. Sam's birthday is on January 25th.

THIS IS SAMMIE'S MOTHERS POST

Short update.. Sammie is not doing well.. unable to keep anything down and has urine output about every 30 hours or so. The new development that is very unsettling is uncontrollable muscle twitching all over her body including her face. Her hands are trembling so badly this morning she is unable to hold anything in her hands without dropping it. As a parent this situation is taking on new levels of pain that I was not prepared for. She is suffering and I am running on empty and adrenaline. She deserves a better life- one that I can not give her here on earth. The pain and suffering is beyond words. I pray every moment for the strength to help her finish her life here and I pray that when her time here is through that she will be able to send me a sign that she is ok

Sammie is still here with us however at 3:43 this morning she did began her journey to heaven. She was moaning and crying but hospice was able to get her in a more controlled state. She kept trying to get out of bed and yelled for Steve and I to be with her...

We will be keeping Ryan and Taylor home today since they were awakened by the events. Please know that when she does pass we will let you know. For now just pray for our whole family to be able endure these next few hours. Please do not believe anything you hear around town until we post it here. Sammie is not going without a fight so it could be hours or a few days.. we just do not know... she told us she was dying but she was very frantic about it..

Thank you for the prayers-

Much love

Chris, Steve, Taylor and Ryan
