PayDay! Win a Straw!

I am surprised you all were able to come to a consensus about what was the main beam after the t-3's without stripping all the velvet out there and following the veins. It is hard for me to tell just looking at the pictures and video. I look forward to seeing his horns. I edited my guess after trying to decide about it.

439 3/8", total

279 1/8, frame

28 6/8" inside

47 7/8" outside,

I hope I didn't guess same as someone else, lol, but if I did it's cause I didn't take the time to go through and check everyone else's guesses.

Thanks for the game, there haven't been many this year. What a fine specimen payday is! Congrats Sam.

I have looked at the pics. I have looked at the videos.

Then I looked again and again.

After all the looking I come up with BIG really BIG.

I am thinking that should cover it. Will I get my straw in time to use it this year?

Brent

Nice try Brent....Big is correct but not the RIGHT answer...lol

Johnathan, the left was an easy 6X6 skipping the one little cheater upright tine. The right was the tough one but there is a large vein line running to the beam that makes it a 6X6. A couple guys thought it went down but then it looked ridiculous!

One other note on this deer. I have sawed hundreds of bucks and never had such a hard time sawing through his antlers. Had another buck down and zipped right through his. PayDay was like sawing through a rock. No wonder he has never broken a point in his entire life. There is nothing porous even in the drop tines. And dense and heavy... wow! The drops last year weighed 10 lbs each. They are heavier this year.  He carries them like they are nothing. They must be perfectly balanced.

Thanks everyone for playing...Off to the capital tomorrow...Yikes!

One other question for Johnathan from another post (you got me thinking), On his right he has an 12+ inch g1, an 18+ inch g2 and 16+ inch g3..and on....(no more hints). He also has a couple drops with one being over 10 inches. Are there any other bucks you know of with this tine length with drops?

Can't blame a man for trying Sam.

I will be a little more specific this time.
