Yea... Go Maxbo Ranger. He needs to pick up the pace if he's going to keep up with Grandpa Max.
OJ Ranger 215" @ 2 vs. Max Dream 341" @ 2 and Kid Dynamite 288" @ 2.
Don't feel bad though Ranger... no other sire in history has ever produced twin 2 year olds that big either.
It's too bad those Texas does take a little longer to reach their full potential or they both might have been over 400 @ 2.
P.S. - Shadow has never had a son shot either... But he had about 20 yearlings that would have been big enough to shoot.

Hmmmmm... Little bitter are you? I would have been very disappointed if OJ Ranger would have been all trashed up and scored bunch. In my Opinion Maxbo Ranger is producing at an alarming rate, no need to pick up the pace. As matter of fact at this pace he will far surpass all others. Max is a great sire and may be your king of the hill and this thread is about the best of all time, but for the number of does bred, Maxbo Ranger is my choice for the BEST IN A SHORT TIME! Lets see what his sons and daughters do.
Unless these bucks were all bred to the same does no one will ever know who is the best producers. Some bucks never see anything but the best of the best does and that is why they produce good others see average does and junk does and still produce good.
Maxbo Ranger hit rate is remarkable, he doesn;t produce a bad son. Don't think you can say that about any other sire. Get em Jim!!!!!!!!

I'm confused. I mean I like Maxbo Ranger, but how is he producing at an alarming rate? What big sons does he have besides Dream Ranger?
Dream Ranger is far and away the best Ranger son I can think of because he scores over 300 and is still a good looking deer.
A deer that scores 220 is just not that impressive. I think some guys that have 200" deer talk about their "look" because they can't talk about their score.
You need to have the look AND the score. 220 just isn't going to get it done.

Max is a great sire and has produced many great sons with a lot of different looks.. Maxbo, Maxin, Big Jake, Max Twins in Texas, Duramax.
I think Maxbo Ranger is the best typical producer in the country . Dream Ranger, Midnight Ranger, P.J. Ranger, M.C Ranger, Peacock Ranger, O.J. ranger, O.K. Ranger, Lucky Ranger, Select Ranger.
They all have one thing in common big huge frames that the hunters like.
Now don;t get me wrong hunters also like inches, but i'm trying to grow inches with the look consistenly.

From what i see first buck under hype would have to be Rolex inflated score by 50 inch inflated auction prices by thousands. For all the does he has been put in their are a lot of duds are a few good ones thowe but when put into a power doe anything can produce. As far as nice framey look Sundance is at the top in my book and yes Maxbo Ranger is producing a nice framey look also but there again he has seen nothing but the best does.Bucky has also been at the top for producing nice frames but he also has seen a lot of does. Prime Time now that is a buck or should i say Moose WOW!
