Virgil are you ever gonna let that 50" difference go? He was scored by 2 official SCI scorers who both came up with the first score then when Curt who was man enough to put him in NADEFA scoring in which they decided that part could not be scored. Since that time those master scorers have cleared up the issue with the SCI problem. Remember one thing also he was one of the few big breeders who even entered his and in previous year the others did till they had to be scored at the conference and not use a previous score sheet. So if you want to point a finger at misrep then you need to find out who the previous scorers were.

I will agree with ya Sundance, Ranger and Bucky.............Primetime the verdict is still out on him ......nothing old enough yet.

It just seemed strange 2 bucks rescored both exactly 50inch off.neither one evan making it to 400inch by a nonbias scorer. Did make him look good by having them scored there but he didn't really have a choice he was called out for false advertising before auction and Kevin was contacted and told something needed to be done.Oh well all came out looking good in the end thats all that counts i guess.

The whole SCI system is subjective and that the problem with it. Heck 1 guy had his at the conference and didn't like it and had it done again and they came out with another score more to his liking. Soooooooooooo how good/accurate is the system?????? Too much interpretation for it to ever be accurate!

I sure would have loved to seen the score on some of those other bucks done by the same guy ????????????????

I believe you may have it wrong on the Curt was called out. I believe he called everyone else out. He was the one who argued that everyone who is entering the bucks into the scoring deal that they had to be scored at the conference not when they first shed out by someone else. Check with the board members it was a heated argument at the Sunday meeting the previous year. My hats off to all who entered last year. Looking forward to those that are entered this year.

Are you going to conference Virgil?

Bottom line ***** ... people are looking for the biggest deer they can find to shoot. And when 220"s start bringing $50-100k, I will saw half of my 400 inchers racks off so I can get paid that 50-100k. But as of right now, 220s are bringing $8k and the 400s are bringing... I don't know, but 350s are bringing $75-150k. If you think that is BS, you might want to give Greg Flees a call.

Hey Slickster,

Since you are obviously new to this forum, I guess you need a lesson in etiquette, not from me! However we enjoy discussions and helpful information here without cursing or much name calling. If you like 400" bucks or 180" bucks I'm sure everyone would like to hear about it. Otherwise my bet is you wont get much respect or response!!

Who is Slickster? That must be another one of those 220 inch bucks with the look that hunters are supposedly going after.

I guess most of us messed up breeding all that Maxbo, Hardcore, Shadow, Rolex, Maxin, Max and Sundowner. I hope I can find a preserve that is looking for those undesireable 300+ inch shooters that are 30" wide.

I'm not real smart, but I would be willing to bet every hunter in the woods would want to shoot a 360" Hardcore or a 355" Sundowner looking buck before any of those clean 220" Slickster type deer.

Whats with all the hidden identities.Be a real man and say what you have to say in the open.Unless your afraid your buddies won't like what you are saying.

Thanks for the encouragement Slickster. That is nice of you. Good luck with your pen full of 180-220 inch shooters as well.

There needs to be guys in the business that supply shooters for youth hunts and hunters who are on a budget also, not just guys who raise 350" bucks.

You guys hurt my feelings. I am really regretting breeding all the 350s and 400s with lots of trash and big flashy pedigrees.

I think I am going to sell all the big trashy ones, change my direction and go for the clean typical look.

This is a nice looking typical 4 year old I was thinking about purchasing. What do you guys think?

Breed with what you want you probly havent evan raised a 200incher yourself yet. Post some pics of your deer and if your going to talk trash tell who you are your picture is a little dark can't see your face.

I would love to see everyone on this forum "MAN UP" and post your name and farm name on all your posts in your signature as I and a lot of other people on here do. I know it will never happen, but it would be nice to know who I was talking to. I'll bet there would be a whole lot less trash talking and negative posts if people had to let everyone on here know who they are. It's easy to hide behind a keyboard, not so easy when your name is out there for everyone to see. I have a gut feeling some people on here have multiple user names. I see a pattern forming. Russel you might want to take a look at the IP addresses. I bet some match.
